Pastor Steve's Sabbatical

Look for information on my sabbatical. "Reaching Back:" By touring the sites of John Wesley in England, I seek inspiration from Wesley's fervor to spread Scriptural holiness throughout the land. "Reaching Up:" I will engage in research at the University of Oxford on the writings of Bernard of Clairvaux, focusing on spiritual growth. "Reaching Out:" By visiting effective churches and pastors in Florida and the UK, reaching an increasingly secularized culture will be my learning focus.

Landed in Florida

We have arrived safely in Florida. Dare I say, the temperature was about 80 today, but I hear it is not supposed to last for too long. Over the next couple days I don't anticipate much activity, but keep an eye on this blog site. I intend to use this site as a means of expressing some of my thoughts, learning, and experiences. I pray you all have a very blessed new year!
